LitLong at the Book Festival

The Words on the Street project has been developing new LitLong: Edinburgh apps that enable anyone to interact with georeferenced literature of Edinburgh, creating their own paths and experiences. The new apps – which have been showcased at the Edinburgh International Book Festival this August as part of an interactive exhibit and set of tours - build on the previous textmining and geolocation work of the Palimpsest project. The work is supported by the AHRC and is led by Professor James Loxley, University of Edinburgh working with Edinburgh Napier University, Edinburgh UNESCO City of Literature Trust, The Edinburgh International Book Festival, with EDINA working behind the scenes on database and hosting support.
