XML Query Web Forms

This demonstrator provides example XML statements which might be passed between a JISC service and the GeoCrossWalk middleware in order to answer a users geographical query. I.e. these are the queries that are sent in the background, between services and are invisible to the user of the service.

The demonstrator is useful to software engineers to see how the xml queries are formatted and work. The examples provided cover various types of geographical query and can be customised on-line to change the results obtained (e.g. changing the names of places being searched for).

If you want learn more about or use the XML Query demonstrator, please get in touch with the GeoCrossWalk Team: gxw@ed.ac.uk
