The new expanded edition of Newsline, EDINA's quarterly newsletter, is now available to read online.
Newsline is aimed at user support staff, interested users and others with an interest in EDINA. It carries information on EDINA services and developments and this issue is full of varied and relevant information.

The 10th Repository Fringe began today in Edinburgh with an introduction from Janet Roberts, Director of EDINA, who warmly welcomed over 130 delegates to the John McIntyre Conference Centre for the two day conference.
We are pleased to announce the addition of Lidar (Light Detection and Ranging) data to the Aerial Digimap collection. The content was enabled for preview throughout June and July and was widely used across dozens of universities accessing Digimap during the period.
We have now reached the end of the Lidar Digimap Preview. and hope that everyone who has used the service has found it a great way to access the Lidar data available. From now on the service will continue to be available to Digimap Users whose institution subscribes to the Aerial Digimap service.
Award Success for EDINA’s Research-informed Digital Footprint Consultancy and Training
We are pleased to announce that content from OpenDepot has now been successfully migrated to the Zenodo platform.
After ten years of continuous operation, OpenDepot.org ended operation as a separate service on 17th July 2017.
The deadline to submit ten-minute ’10×10′ presentations (ten slides in ten minutes) has been extended. To apply, send us your abstract of no more than 300 words by email to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5pm on Friday 30 June 2017.
