GIS Resources

The Ordnance Survey works with a number of partners who offer software solutions for OS MasterMap. A full list [external] can be found on the OS website.

The following documents have been produced by system suppliers and provide more information about the implementation of OS MasterMap using various software tools that are in common use in the academic sector. It should be noted that these documents generally assume that data is obtained directly from Ordnance Survey and so some of the information may not be consistent with the delivery mechanism from the Digimap service.

The following symbology files are being provided for use in ArcGIS 9.1. They are based on, and use, files supplied with MapManager 9.1. They are for use with the sample Topography Layer datasets for demonstration purposes only (they are not complete).
