Service Changes

We are pleased to be able to provide you with an update to the 2010/11 service plans for Land Life Leisure, further to the February announcement

Since that date we have been in discussion with Harper Adams University College, Royal Agricultural College and Pershore College who are all in a position to continue providing weekly feeds of article references for addition to the database. Aberystwyth University will no longer be indexing content.

Therefore the service will no longer be frozen but actively indexed and updated on a weekly basis. The working list of publications being indexed by the different colleges is available at http://edina.ac.uk/landlifeleisure/description.html

The interface will remain unchanged following its relatively recent upgrade.

The new model for contribution is a community system with other colleges or organisations being invited to send regular content for inclusion in the service. Please contact edina@ed.ac.uk for further details of this process.

To reflect this change we have greatly reduced the charges for the service. In line with this new institutional 'membership' fees, rather than subscription rates, are listed on the updated page at http://edina.ac.uk/landlifeleisure/access/institutions.shtml

Indexing colleges are exempt from any payment.
