EDINA will use Wimba Classroom in 2011-12 to deliver webinars – this is a web based classroom that allows us to share content and our screen with you. You can see us, hear us and ask questions. For more details see:

You will need speakers or a headset to hear the EDINA user support team. Ideally you will have a mic so you can talk to us, but you can communicate with us via text chat in Wimba if a mic is not available.
To check your system is ready to run Wimba, please carry out the following system test on the computer you will be using.
Go to:
Click on 'Run the setup wizard'.
The Setup Wizard will guide you through a series of tests to ensure that your computer is ready. Depending on the speed of your computer and your internet connection, the Wizard may take a few minutes to complete.
