This page provides details of the user registration procedures for users at institutions which subscribe to the following Digimap Collections:
Historic Digimap does not require user registration.
For the Collections listed above users must be registered individually to use the service. Registration is supported by an institution's Site Representative, who will be able to advise on the exact procedure. As part of the registration process, each user must:
| Individual Registration: Each user must submit their details using the Digimap Online Registration, and subsequently confirm them. You can register for more than one Collection at once. If you are already registered for one Collection and wish to register for another, please use the same online form. You can access the online registration form by logging in to Digimap and choosing the Collection you wish to register for. If you are already registered, you will gain access to the service. | Transfer of Data: If a user wishes to transfer data taken from any Digimap Collection to registered users of the same Collection in other institutions, then they need to complete the Notification of Transfer of Data Form (EDR9) |

| If users' details change after they have registered, some changes can be notified using the appropriate online form in the appropriate Collection Help pages. Users need to log in first before accessing this form. |
Class RegistrationUnder UK federation access management, it is not possible to access any Digimap Collection using a class account. From 1 August 2008 class account access to Digimap will not be available. All users must be registered individually in order to access Digimap. |
